Privacy & cookies

This is a personal portfolio run by Valeria De Rubeis. There are no forms or accounts — the only data collected is anonymous analytics: a cookie-free visit count for everyone, and more detailed tools only if you say yes.

Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics runs for every visitor. It counts page views, referring sites, country and device type, sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Visits are counted without tracking you across days or across other sites. Vercel's analytics privacy policy (opens in a new tab)

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, two tools load to help me understand how the site is used and improve it:

Both providers process your IP address to do this. I use the data only to improve this site — never to identify you, and never for advertising. The legal basis is your consent.

Cookies used

Necessary items are always on because the site can't work as expected without them. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept. The providers may also set their own cookies on their domains — see their policies above.

Changing your choice

You can accept or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing deletes this site's analytics cookies and stops the tools loading.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access or delete data about you, or object to its use. As the analytics are anonymous, I usually can't link them to you, but I'm happy to help — email me. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (opens in a new tab) or your local data protection authority.
